Data stays with you

Be a Lion does not collect or transmit personal data to its developer, Shudufhadzo Nemulalate. The app has no accounts, advertisements, analytics, or tracking services.

Saved on your iPhone

The app stores your reading orders, journey start date, chosen path, bookmarks, appearance, and reminder settings locally. Device backups may include this data according to your Apple settings. Deleting the app removes its local data. Offloading or restoring a backup can preserve it.

Notifications

Daily reminders are scheduled locally with your permission. You can disable them in the app or iPhone Settings. No remote notification server is used.

Sharing and external websites

Sharing sends only the content you choose to the destination you select. External websites and sharing destinations have their own privacy practices. Be a Lion does not send your bookmarks or reading history to those websites.

Your choices

You can remove saved quotes, change preferences, disable notifications, or delete the app. There is no account to delete.

Contacting support and visiting this website

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond. These web pages are hosted by Cloudflare, which processes request information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the website. This is separate from the offline app, which does not transmit your reading history or bookmarks.
